Aelius, Caesar, 136-138. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 30 mm, 24.30 g, 5 h), Rome, 137. L AELIVS CAESAR Bare head of Aelius to right. Rev. TR POT COS II / S C Spes advancing left, holding flower in her right hand and raising hem of skirt with her left. Cohen 56. RIC 1055 (Hadrian). With an attractive green patina and a very elegant head of Aelius, but with Spes having curiously solid shoulders!. About extremely fine.
