Marcus Aurelius, 161-180. As (Copper, 24 mm, 10.29 g, 12 h), Rome, 174-175. M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXIX Laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right. Rev. IMP VII COS III / S C The Tiber reclining to left, holding a reed in his left hand, resting his right arm on the prow of boat, and resting his left elbow on a pitcher from which water flows. Cohen 348. RIC 1142. Well centered, with an attractive dark green patina, a good portrait, and a detailed image of the Tiber. Some roughness on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
