Miliaresion (Silver, 23 mm, 2.66 g, 12 h), Constantinople, 868-879. +bASI / LIOSCЄ / CONStAn / tIns PIStV / bASILIS / ROMEO' in six lines within triple circle of pellets. Rev. IhSuS XRI-StuS nICA Cross potent on base and three steps, with globe below; all within triple circle of dots, without added pellets. DOC 7. SB 1708. A lovely toned example. Minor marks and slightly clipped, otherwise, good very fine.
