THRACE. Chersonesos. Circa 386-338 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 13 mm, 2.41 g, 8 h). Forepart of lion right, head left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with alternating raised and sunken quarters; pellet and E and grain ear in opposing sunken quarters. HGC 3.II 1437. McClean 4101. Rare variety. Lustrous, clear and bright example. Test cut on reverse edge, otherwise, very fine.
