KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great', 336-323 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 4.06 g, 4 h), Lampsakos, circa 323-317. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. AΛEΞANΔPOY Zeus seated left on backless throne, holding eagle in his right hand and long scepter with his left. Price 1372. Nicely toned, well centered example. Good very fine.
