Slightly different in design and legend to the published coins of this class, the first specimen from these dies was offered at auction in 2014. The first letter of the moneyer's name is not clear on either coin, resembling an inverted L. As far as the cataloguer is aware, the name is not found anywhere else in the medieval numismatics of the British Isles
