AEOLIS, Kyme. Circa 188-170 BC. AR Tetradrachm (36.5mm, 16.65 g, 12h). In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Dionysios, magistrate. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, oinochoë above forepart of horse left; ΔΙΟΝΥΣΙΟΣ in exergue. Price 1640. VF, toned, double struck on obverse, some die wear on reverse. Very rare, only four in Pella, one in CoinArchives, none in ANS photofile.
