Vespasian. AD 69-79. AR Denarius (18mm, 2.81 g, 5h). "Judaea Capta" commemorative. Rome mint. Struck under Titus, AD 80-81. Laureate head right / Empty quadriga advancing left; dash rail surmounted by statuette of quadriga flanked by Victories holding palm fronds and wreaths; car ornamented with figures of Minerva advancing left and brandishing spear, and garlands. RIC II 361; Hendin 1585; RSC 146. Near VF, toned, obverse metal flaw, a few small deposits on the reverse.
