KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great'. 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 17.09 g, 12h). Damaskos mint. Struck under Menon or Menes, circa 330-323 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, forepart of ram right; pellet between struts of throne, ΔA below. Price 3203. VF, toned, deep cleaning scratches and some find patina on obverse.
