KINGS of MACEDON. Philip III Arrhidaios. 323-317 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28.5mm, 17.09 g, 1h). In the name of Alexander III. Tarsos mint. Struck under Philotas or Philoxenos. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, crowning Nike flying right above Σ and kerykeion; monogram below throne. Price 3053; Newell, Tarsos 59 (obv. die LXVII). Good VF, lightly toned, a little off center, scrape on reverse.
