(x) Archbishops of Canterbury, Plegmund (890-914 or 923?), Penny, 1.52g, 9h, class I (890-895), Hunfreth, + plegmvnd archiep, legend begins at 3 o'clock, around solid inner circle containing do / ro, lozenge os, rev. hvnfre / Ðmo, lozenge o, in two lines divided by three small crosses, additional crosses above and below (cf. SCBI 36 (Berlin) 90; N.254; S.898), two tiny spots of verdigris on obverse, very fine.
