12 pieces in lot. Includes eleven(11) substitute cowries made from bone, quartz, greenstone, etc. with one(1) cowrie shell. Made and used during the Shang Dynasty (ca. B.C. 1600-1046) and Zhou Dynasty (ca. B.C. 1046-256). Approximate retail value of about $500. Most have holes. Close personal inspection is advised and will reward the diligent bidder.
