KM-Unlisted; CCC-Unlisted; K-pg. 331-32; Duan-Unlisted; CL-Unlisted. Struck in copper with reeded edge using two reverse dies. EXTREMELY RARE. Proposed design for a Tael series based on the gold standard. Sharply struck with the design features fully defined and light signs of handling. Small hit mark on reverse at 3 o'clock accounts for the details designation of "Damage". A complementary combination of mahogany atop of the devices with mocha that encompasses the fields give a nice two-tone appearance. Very attractive and very interesting sure to excite the specialist.
