CHINA. Kiangnan. 10 Cash Mule, ND (1906). PCGS EF-45 Secure Holder.
CL-KN.85; W-772 (7-7); cf.CCC-212; Duan-0551. VERY RARE. Struck in copper using two "Flying Dragon" obverse dies. Small five petal rosettes. Woodward notes on page 98 that these are undoubtedly mint sport. Moderate circulation consistent for the grade with a slightly uneven strike due to a minor planchet clip at 11 o'clock on the "obverse" or 1 o'clock of the "reverse". Minor deposits in the crevasses with lovely smooth chocolate patina displaying a nice two-tone appearance. Overall a handsome example. PCGS EF-45 Secure Holder.
