CHINA. Kiangsi. 10 Cash, ND (1912). PCGS MS-64 BN Secure Holder.
CL-KSJ.20; CCC-295; Y-412a.2; cf.W-652(AB-27); Duan-1600. RARE. Though similar to Woodward 652 the number of beads is different consisting of Obverse border of 92 beads and rosettes with five petals with reverse AB border consisting of 84 beads and rosette with horizontal line. The point of the star just under the "I" of "KIANG" on the left side of the dividing line contains only two lines which is consistent for Woodward 652. Well struck with attractive smooth mocha surfaces displaying hints of blue and purple iridescence amongst the devices when tilted in the light. An interesting variety which will add depth to the next collection it enters. PCGS MS-64 BN Secure Holder.
