CHINA. Pattern Cash, ND (1907). PCGS SP-64 BN Secure Holder.
CL-HB.49; CCC-641; Duan-2498. Tientsin mint. EXTREMELY RARE. An interesting specimen in that the obverse is of the adopted design while the reverse is of the previous issue. In this instance the present example is more of a trial or sample than an actual pattern. Since both issues were of the same diameter it was easy to pair the two for test striking. Sharply struck as would be expected with lovely deep patina and just hints of original mint red. Our first offering of this type. PCGS SP-64 BN Secure Holder.
