CHINA. Fantasy 10 Cash, ND (1912). PCGS MS-62 BN Secure Holder.
Hsu-26; CCC-702; Duan-3155; W1094 (AX-49); Bruce-880. Second finest graded at PCGS with only one finer (MS-63BN). Another fantasy that has been around awhile, as it is mentioned in Woodward (p. 150), who attributes it to the Tientsin mint. Obverse: Uniformed, bareheaded bust of Li Yuan-Hung. Superior to the one we sold in 2013 (Ponterio sale 178, lot 51440). Good strike with attractive even patina. PCGS MS-62 BN Secure Holder.
