CHINA. Yunnan Danchuo Bianding. Provincial Single Stamp Slab Ingots. 1 Tael Ingot, Year 2 (1853).
48.95 gms. "(Dao) Feng Er Nian" ([Dao] Feng Period, 2nd year [1853]). This central stamp seems to have been punched twice, with the second application reversed, showing a full "Nian" where the "Dao" should be. Prior to this stamp, there was a two character stamp seemingly applied twice, which is now bisected. VERY FINE.
