BURMA. Mu & Pe, CS 1214 (1852). PCGS MS-63 Secure Holders.
KM-6.2 & 7.1; Robinson & Shaw-11.4e & 11.7A1b. 2 pieces in lot. The Pe with longer ground close to toothed border; Reverse: Accent omitted from denomination. The Mu with modified character at 12 o'clock and bold "Y" pattern in the tail feathers; Reverse: Faint remnants of a centering dot, the character "J" has three hooks. Both are well struck and lustrous. The Pe has lovely envelope tone with hints of a blue sheen while the Mu displays a light smokey tone. The Pe is SCARCE in this grade while the MU is a RARE and interesting variety. A lovely matched pair sure to excite. Both are graded by PCGS. PCGS MS-63 (2) Secure Holders.
