26.78 gms. S-2726; North-2383; Fr-258; KM-256.1. Tall, wider crowned bust with scarf of Charles I facing left holding upright sword with long branch on shoulder, plume behind; Reverse: Declaration in three lines within scroll, date below with "III" and three plumes above. Slight doubling as to be expected of this emergency issue. Second finest graded at PCGS, with one additional piece graded finer at NGC. Legends on both sides are sharp and clear. No noticeable defects or surface issues. Crisp portraiture and obverse legend. Gorgeous lemon drop hue. Covered with soft satin luster and exceptionally attractive. PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder.
