THAILAND. Pattern Baht Struck in Copper with Reeded Edge & Medal Alignment, ND (1868). Rama V, Phra Maha Chulalonkorn (1868-1910). NGC PROOF-65 RB.
13.8 gms. KM-Pn28; K&M-pl. F32. White elephant within nine-bladed Chakra, encircled by eight stars denoting denomination; Reverse: Royal seal of King Rama V, a Thai coronet flanked by two umbrellas. RARE. An enticing example with mirrored fields setting it apart from other patterns. Nearly all orange reverse with much more complex coloring on the obverse, including plum, cranberry and magenta tone with exceptional reflectivity. NGC PROOF-65 RB.
