MALAYA AND BRITISH BORNEO. Board of Commissioners of Currency Malaya & British Borneo. 10,000 Dollars, ND (1953). P-7s Color Trial Specimen. PCGS GSG Choice Uncirculated 64 Details. Hinged, Archival Pinholes.
(KNB7b) Printers essay color trial in red and multicolored by TDLR. An remarkable offering that pairs incredibly well to the specimen we are offering in the previous lot. This highest denomination design is one that is rarely available in the marketplace and the offering of both this piece and the specimen note is quite a historic occurrence. Seen with relief wording of the issuer at upper left and denomination at center with intricate grey color guilloche below. Striking portrait vignette of QEII at right in a deep red ink and seen with stemmed corner styling with imprint at lower right.

The note is found without overprinted serial numbers or series date with specimen overprinting at center and lower left and upper right on both the face and back. Close inspection reveals deeply embossed inks throughout which keeps the appeal quite high. Free of any significant issued, but Hinged, and Archival Pinholes are mentioned in the comments section. Surely an opportunity for the advanced collector to add a pinnacle rarity of all worldwide banknotes to their portfolio. PCGS GSG Choice Uncirculated 64 Details. Hinged, Archival Pinholes.

Estimate: $20000.00- $30000.00
