CHINA--FOREIGN BANKS. Banque de L'Indo-Chine. 1 Dollar, 1902. P-S436s. Specimen. PCGS GSG Choice Uncirculated 63.
(S/M #T204-1) Kwangtung-Shameen. Specimen. Printed by A. Bramtot et G Duval FEC. This note is an extremely rare and immaculately preserved, Banque de L'Indo-Chine Banknote. The primary focus of the Banco de L'Indochine notes prior to the decree of May 16th 1900 was for use in French Colonies. This decree when signed provided the bank to operate until 1920 and also gave permit to operate within China and Siam. This note shows the Director signature of Stanislas Simon and Administrative signature of Baron Hely D'Oissel. The note shows the appeal of a full Gem save for some minor toning likely limiting the grade at right. Good embossing and great color throughout. PCGS GSG Choice Uncirculated 63.
Estimate: $20000.00- $30000.00
