CHINA. 10 Cash, ND (1912). PCGS EF-45 Secure Holder.
Y-301a; CCC-656; cf.Duan-3163; CL-MG.33; cf.W-989 (G-12). Double border of beads and solid line. Not listed in Woodward as being struck in brass and as such presumable EXTREMELY RARE. Zhou Qinyuan and Li Ping Wen authors of "Concise Catalogue of Modern Chinese Copper Coins" believe that these pieces are patterns rather than a circulation issue. An interesting piece fully deserving of further in depth research. Good strike with moderate signs of circulation. Attractively toned. PCGS EF-45 Secure Holder.
