Aethelstan (924-39), Penny, Norwich, Manne, 1.51g, aedelstan rex, crowned and draped bust right, rev. manne mo nordpc, small cross pattée in centre (N.675; S.1095), a remarkable example, well-centred, and with superior portrait detail, save only for a small blemish by hair, about as struck, very rare thus.
