Edward the Confessor (1042-66), Penny, facing bust-small cross type, Sudbury, Folcwine, 1.03g, crowned facing bust, rev. folipine on svÐb, small cross with radiating terminals (SCBI 42, 1625-28; N.830; BMC XIII; S.1183), partial striking weakness to left of bust and on corresponding area of reverse, otherwise good very fine and very rare, this being the last class recorded for Sudbury by North under Edward.
