William I (1066-87), Cut Halfpennies (2), two sceptres type, Lincoln, Sigeweard, 0.68g, crowned bust facing rev. sipor[d on linco]l, cross fleury over saltire botonnée, annulet in centre (N.844; BMC IV; S.1253); another, Paxs type, Exeter, 0.75g, similar, rev. [-] on execi, cross pattée, p a x s in angles (N.848; BMC VIII; S.1257), the first chipped, but with good surfaces, both very fine or better (2).
