Henry I (1100-35), Penny, pointing bust and stars type, Dorchester, Osbern, 1.34g, crowned bust, three-quarters right, holding sceptre in right hand, three stars in field, rev. osbern on dor, cross potent over saltire cross, annulet-quatrefoils at the end of each angular limb (N.862 {Dorchester unrecorded for Class VI}; BMC VI; S.1267), an attractive piece, a pleasing very fine albeit for minor flan distortion, of the highest rarity and presumed unique.
