Commonwealth (1649-60), Halfcrown, 1659, m.m. anchor, 13.90g, shield of England within palm and laurel wreath, rev. conjoined shields of England and Ireland, mark of value above (ESC 60 {440} [R7]; N.2723; S.3216), clear date, dark tone, the reverse with light water corrosion, otherwise very fine and exceptionally rare, one of only two known.
