Carausius (286-93), AR Denarius, 4.43g, imp caravsivs p f avg, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. expectate veni, Carausius right, holding ensign, and clasping hands with Britannia, nothing in exergue (cf. RIC V, part II, pp. 510, no. 554), a scuff across face and struck with an aged reverse die, otherwise good very fine, rare.
