Bithynian Kingdom. Prousias I or Prousias II. Ca. 230/28-182 B.C. or 182-149 B.C. Æ (20 mm, 5.54 g, 12 h). Wreathed head of youthful Dionysos right / [Β]ΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ [ΠΡ]OYΣIOY, the centaur Chiron standing right, playing lyre; below raised foreleg, monogram. RG 26; SNG Copenhagen 637. A well struck and pleasing example with good metal. Nice light brown patina. Nearly extremely fine.
