Islands off Troas, Tenedos. Ca. 550-470 B.C. AR obol (7 mm, 0.58 g, 12 h). Janiform head, male on left, female on right / Labrys (double-axe) within incuse square. SNG Ashmolean -; cf. BMC 7 (male and female head positions); cf. HGC 6, 381 (same). Very rare with male head on left. Lightly toned. Very fine.
