Parthian Kingdom. Orodes II. 57-38 B.C. AR tetradrachm (29 mm, 12.29 g, 12 h). Seleukeia on the Tigris. Diademed bust of Orodes II left, wart on forehead, neck torque ends in sea horse / King seated left, holding scepter and Nike, who crowns him with wreath. Sellwood 48.1; Shore 212; Callataÿ 2-14; Sunrise 375. Light graffiti on obverse. High relief, well centered, and lightly toned. Nice very fine.
