Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III 'the Great'. 336-323 B.C. AR tetradrachm (27 mm, 16.61 g, 8 h). Pella(?), ca. 290-275 B.C. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Zeus seated left, holding eagle and scepter; in left field, trident head left. Cf. Price 220. Excellent centering and strike. Toned. Extremely fine.
