Bearded head of Dionysos to right, wreathed with ivy and with his hair tied in a krobylos at the back / Ν-ΑΧΙ-ΟΝ, bearded and ithyphallic Silenos squatting facing, head left, holding stemless two-handled drinking cup at shoulder. Cf. Kraay & Hirmer 6; cf. Rizzo pl. XXIX, 1; cf. SNG ANS 515 (all same dies). Made from the best dies of this highly important issue. Toned. Choice extremely fine.
