INDIA, Colonial. British India. Bengal Presidency. Brass Biface Mohur die (31mm, 18.34 g, 12h). For jeweler's use. 'Murshidabad' (Calcutta) mint. 19th century manufacture. Couplet in five lines / Mint formula and RY date. Cf. Pridmore 83 (1825 issue – for type with appropriate secret marks). Good VF, spots of corrosion and minor scratches. Well made piece.
