WORLD. Sri Lanka (Ceylon). Native coinages. Lot of over twenty-nine (29) clay molds. All items: Polonnaruwa period. temp. Parakrama Bahu VI, 1415-1468 and Sahasa Malla, 1200-1202. Used for producing Æ Kahavanus. Items in numbered flips correspond to the following: 1-15 are standing figure // 16-28 are running man figure // 16, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24 & 29 are molds of Parakrama Bahu VI – 1415-1468 // 17, 20 & 26 are "inverse" molds. Items as made, some fragmentary. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. Approximately twenty-nine (29) coins in lot.
