On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the coronation of Franz Joseph, the Hungarian Foreign Trade Company ARTEX awarded the 100 Coronas. They were minted from June 24, 1966 to August 19, 1967. The distinguishing sign is the U P - Utánveret Próba mark, which means a later mintage in translation. There are several variants known - with the mark U P, U.P and platinum with the U P mark. The golden strike without a dot between U and P is known only in the number of 3 pieces. The platinum version was also minted from the same dies. Together, 76 pieces of 100 Coronas were minted in 14 months. Another variation of this 100 Corona is also a restrike without any sign that has been minted for collectors on the American market. The inner field is dim.
