[IMP ·] CAESAR · VESPA[SIA]N · AVGVST, laureate had of Vespasian right / [PO]N · MAX · TR · P · PP · COS · VIII · CE[NS] / S - C, winged caduceus framed by crossed cornucopiae / S - C low in fields. RIC 1508; RPC --. VF / near VF, dark green patina obverse, reverse lighter green patina, "adjustment marks" low, weakly struck 4:00-8:00 losing several letters. not in RPC, RIC says "C".
It is not clear whether this type was minted in Rome for use in the East, or in Commagene along with the other caduceus-and-two-cornucopiae types as they are traditionally attributed. RIC calls it "common", RPC does not even list it.
