Seleukid Kingdom. Alexander II Zebinas. 128-122 B.C. AE 22 (22.17 mm, 7.63 g, 12 h). series 5 / type C. Antioch mint. Radiate and diademed head of Alexander Zebinas right; dotted border / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩ[Σ] - ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡ[ΟΥ], titles vertically downwards to right and left of vertical parallel twin cornucopiae with bunch of grapes and long filet; A - Π in inner fields, star to lower left. SC 2237.1b; SNG Spaer 2343-4; Bab 1309. Good VF, black-green patina, scant dark ochre deposits in recesses and fields; obverse 20% off-center to south, losing nothing but border - "upside-down flan" struck with larger diameter obverse rather than the usual reverse.
