The Colonial Bank of Australasia, printers archival photographs showing two different obverse designs for £1 sterling, Melbourne, c.late 1890s, first with arms at top centre, and very similar to the £1 notes of 1872/93, but with new guilloches and underprint, second with horses and ploughman at centre, arms at low left(not listed), backed on card, unique and fascinating (2).
