Pair of Louis XV Sols (1/2 Sous Marqués),
1) 1740-A AU58 NGC, Paris mint, KM501.1, Vlack-295. Double-punched 4 in date. Obverse fairly lustrous, reverse more subdued with areas of dark toning.
2) 1740-D AU, Lyon mint, KM501.5, Vlack-300. Subdued luster. Cud above LUD, thin area of lamination across the center reverse.
