Pair of Louis XV Sols (1/2 Sous Marqués),
1) 1740-T XF, Nantes mint, KM501.10, Vlack-314. Gray and yellow with a darker area on the rev. A couple of flaws in the edge, probably as made. Ex. Robert Vlack collection (Stack's Vlack, Jan. 2008, lot 5413).
2) 1740-X XF, Amiens mint, KM501.13, Vlack-318, R7. Pleasing silvery hue, marred only by a couple of narrow strips of roughness, as made.
