Louis XV. Pair of Franco-American Jetons,
1) 1757 XF Details (Edge Damage) NGC, Br-518, silver, faintly reeded edge, coinage alignment, 28.1 mm, 6.51 gm. Laureated bust right, bare neck, 3 berries in wreath, script M. (for François Marteau) (Raymond Obv. P) / Mars, armed with uplifted spear and French shield, and Neptune with trident, advance to left on shell. The edge damage (polishing?) is very hard to see with the piece in a holder. Surfaces toned an even medium gray.

2) 1758 Unc., Br-519, copper, plain, beveled edge, coinage alignment, 29.7 mm, 8.40 gm. Laureated bust right, with bare neck with a sloping left half of the truncation, script R. filius (for Roettiers filius) below (Raymond Obv. Y) / Flock of eagles flying over sea toward shore on left, view of city in background, date below.
