Nova Scotia. Pair of TRADE & NAVIGATION Penny Tokens 1813, Breton-962,
1) XF, NS-20A3, 17.78 gm. Large letters, ship centered on calm seas. Remarkable example of an overstrike on a Guppy token where significant portions of the undertype remain. On the obverse one sees much of the ship's rigging, as well as BRISTOL and PAT(ENT).
2) MS62+ Brown NGC, NS-20A4, Courteau-11, 19.77 gm. Small letters. A few minor marks in the obverse field.
