Lower Canada. Pair of FIELD MARSHALL WELLINGTON 1/2 Pennies ND, Br-971,
1) EF, but porous surfaces. WE-2A, 9.13 gm. The edge on this piece is beveled and mostly plain, except for a brief hint of center graining (reeding). The Charlton listing notwithstanding, any examples of Breton-971 that do not have the fully-engrailed edge are very scarce.
2) Unc., WE-2A2, 8.84 gm. Engrailed edge, the normal edge for the type.
