Trio of Blacksmith 1/2 Penny Tokens,
1) 1820 VF, Br-1012, BL-35A2, Wood-Unl, Courteau-26. Brass, 5.25 gm. Reverse brokage, and rare as such. A few small verdigris spots and a couple of almost unnoticeable scratches on the obverse.
2) ND VF, BL-40A1, Wood-23, Courteau-20, Everingham/Baker 1st Issue, Die State C, obverse cupping. Copper, medal alignment, 5.51 gm. With what appears to be some original orange tone.
3) ND XF or better, BL-40A2, Wood-23, Courteau-20, Everingham/Baker 4th Issue, obverse cupping. Copper, coinage alignment, 4.26 gm. With even brown patina. One of the best examples of this variety we've seen.
