Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great right, wearing horn of Ammon / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑXO-Υ, Athena seated left, holding Nike crowning royal name in right hand and resting left arm on shield decorated with lion's head; ΠΟ monogram on throne, uncertain control mark . Müller -. Thompson -, apparently unpublished with these controls. A lovely specimen, well struck from dies of superb style and possessing considerable obverse luster.
