Facing head of Silenus in Archaic style / Quadripartite incuse square, one quadrant partially filled. Bodenstedt 43. BMC 3. SNG Fitzwilliam 4559. A little gem, with a sharply struck and amusing face of Silenus. NOTE: NGC lists as Bodenstedt 67, dated 477-388 BC, but this is a somewhat later, more classical issue with a facing Silenus.
