Diademed head of Bagadat right, with short beard, mustache, and earring, wearing kyrbasia with flaps tied behind / Aramaic legend Bayadad, son of the Bayward, frataraka (governor), Bagadat standing right before fire temple of Ahura-Mazda, raising hands in supplication; to right, standard topped by square banner decorated with X, pellets in angles. Sunrise 560. Alram 515 variant (placement of legend). Rare. Residual areas of oxidation, otherwise an attractive piece with an exceptionally deep strike and fine portrait of good style.
